RENTING YOUR DRESS
How long can I rent the dress for?
We have two options for rentals, 3 and 7 days. If you do wish to rent over this period, please contact us at email@example.com to arrange that, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We recommend booking your order to arrive 1 day prior to your event.
How many dresses can I order?
You can order up to three dresses at a time.
When should I make a reservation for a dress?
It is recommended booking your dress at least 1 day before your event to ensure you are happy with the style and fit. You can book your dress up to 6 months in advance.
What condition will the dress be in when I receive it?
We have very strict quality control measures. All our dresses are dry-cleaned after every use, so your dress will arrive in excellent condition. Please note, as most of the dresses will have been worn before, upon closer inspection, you may notice very minor faults.
What if I accidentally damage the dress?
We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable. The mandatory insurance of 10% included in the rental price covers minor stains and damages that can be repaired.
What if the dress is lost or damaged beyond repair?
In the unlikely event that your dress gets lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, you will be liable to pay for the full retail price of the dress or replaceable value. We understand that this is an unfortunate event to occur, and we will do our best to ensure that the solution found is the most favourable for you.
To do that, we determine the replaceable value of the dress through many factors: the retail price, the possibility to buy the dress on the market, the condition of the dress at the time of rental, and the rental amount you have already paid.
Can you guarantee the authenticity of the garment?
The Mode guarantees that all our dresses are 100% authentic.
Do I need to dry clean the designer dress before returning it?
No, we take care of the dry cleaning. You will just need to place the rented dress back into the garment bag that the dress was delivered in and hand it over to our courier at the time previously agreed upon.
What happens if I return the dress late?
Please make sure that you are contactable and you have the dress available on the return date.
If you return the dress late, you will be charged a penalty of 10% of the retail value of the Dress for each day. If you do not return the dress back within 14 days after the return date, you will be charged one and half times the retail value of the dress.
PLACING AN ORDER
How do I order online?
Browse through our variety of dresses for any occasion, fromblack tie formal to brunch casual. You have the option to filter dresses by size, occasion and color. Choose your desired days you wish to rent the dress for – we offer 3-day or 7-day rental options.
How long should I order my dress before my scheduled event?
We recommend you set your delivery date 1 – 2 days before your event to avoid any mishaps and to ensure you are satisfied with your order. You can book up to 6 months in advance.
How do I cancel my order?
In order to cancel your order, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If your order is cancelled more than 3 days before the delivery date, you will not be charged a cancellation fee and will obtain a full refund to your original method of payment. If you order is cancelled less than 3 days before the delivery date you will be granted a credit note to use in store valid for 12 months.
When will I receive my refund if I cancel the order?
The refund process can take approximately 10 – 20 days depending on the individual processing time of your bank. The processing time can vary greatly between card issuers.We do not have any control over this.
FIT & STYLE
How do I know what size to order?
Please refer to our size chart for universal sizing. Different designers have different sizing methods so this size chart should translate the best size for you. If you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
What happens if none of the dresses I ordered fit?
We understand it is difficult to order online sometimes and we want to ensure you look perfect at your event. If the dress you ordered does not fit, or you simply do not like it, please contact us no more than 12 hours after you received the dress. We will organize pick up and give you credit towards another dress minus the delivery fee. Please make sure all original hangtags are attached. A credit will not be issued if we are informed more than 12 hours after you received the dress.
Can I keep or purchase a dress?
We only offer our dresses for rent at this time. However, if you are interested in purchasing a dress, please contact us.
